Open Call for ArtCenter/South Florida FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

ArtCenter/South Florida announces the launch of a fully funded Fellowship Program. The MFU: MIAMI is the pilot semester of ArtCenter/South Florida’s Fellowship Program, which brings distinguished faculty, alternative education initiatives, and cultural practitioners together in Miami to foster the exchange of knowledge. The program provides residents interested in working outside traditional disciplinary boundaries with the resources, time, and feedback to develop programs and courses that will be taught in future iterations of ArtCenter’s Program for Applied Artistic Research. For this pilot semester, which runs from 26 February- 31 May, 2017, selected fellows will take part in BHQFU’s MFU: Miami Seminar. Led by BHQFU faculty and visiting guests, this seminar will examine contemporary art and art education.
The 12-week residency offers a stipend of $3750, travel expenses, and live/work housing at ArtCenter/Downtown Miami. This program welcomes applications from visual artists, curators, researchers, writers, performers, and musicians at any stage in their career. There is no fee to apply.
Applications are due by 11:59pm EST, 15 December, 2016.
