| Gasworks announces an open call for artists wishing to participate in the International Residency Programme. The Magic of Persia residency, organised in collaboration with Magic of Persia,
is open to emerging artists working and living in Iran, up to five
years from graduating from an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Gasworks International Residency Programme provides non UK based artists with the opportunity to temporarily live and work in London, benefiting from contacts with local artists, curators and the public. The programme encourages international dialogue and exchange of ideas through practice. To date Gasworks has hosted over 200 artists from 50 countries around the world. |
| The recipient of the award will have the opportunity to live and work in London for a period of three months. Additionally the prize will cover a materials budget, weekly per diems, travel expenses and a studio at Gasworks in London from January to March 2013. |
